Suspicious Vehicle in Barton under Needwood

A white Panel Van, which has been described as distinctive looking due to damage on the vehicle, no registration and no CCTV has been captured at this point.  The vehicle has been seen in the Barton area, in the very early hours of the morning, the first report coming into Police was on the 19th January 2026. The vehicle was seen in Dunstall Road, for approx 45 minutes with its lights on around 0330am.  A residents light came on at this time and the vehicle drove in one direction, turned  around and drove off past this residents house. One nearby residence, was burgled just before Christmas, hence the heightened suspicion about this vehicle. Please be aware of any suspicious vehicles, especially in the early hours of the morning and do not be afraid to ring the Police.  In any emergency, please call 999. If you see this vehicle, a white Panel van, with extensive damage in the early hours please call the police.
